Reading and writing and stuff

I finally finished the horror novel that I really wanted to be done with. Yay! So I'm sort of reading Anna Karenina, but I decided to put that on hold again to read something a little fluffier, because don't get me wrong -- Tolstoy is plenty fun, but after trudging through the last two novels I read, I just needed something fun. So I'm reading the Torchwood novel Almost Perfect. I actually like it so far, though admittedly I'm only about. . . 1/5 into it. So I'm trying to withhold judgment.

I haven't gotten nearly as much writing done as I'd planned to by now, but I'm finishing up the prison AU sequel (right now it's like, 80% dialogue, so I need to flesh it out a bit) and am tentatively working on another Jack/Ianto D/s story. And I've got my lgbtfest fic to finish by the 5th. Eeek! Still have a lot to do for that.

I'm also working on the vampire road trip novel of doom. It's actually fun to be working on it again.

Life is more interesting when it's kinky

Today, I saw a bumper sticker that said "iPaddle." I noticed it immediately and perked up because I thought it had to do with erotic spanking, and therefore one of the more interesting bumper stickers I've seen. So I did a Google search when I got home, and discovered that it actually refers to canoe enthusiasm. I probably should have known.
