What's going on
Aug. 13th, 2011 08:39 pmI've got about two weeks before school starts, and am in panic mode right now when it comes to both tying up all loose ends in regards to that, and enjoying myself/relaxing/getting personal stuff done.
I signed up for the the Inception Big Bang. I may live to regret this, but I'm not that worried about actually being able to finish the fic because 1) I've already got an idea pretty well worked out and 2) I'm not expecting the minimum wordcount of 15000 to be that hard. I've had some writer's block lately, but when I'm able to work past it, racking up wordcount has been the least of my problems. Will have to find a beta, though, and would probably have an easier time with that if I weren't planning to write Ariadne/Eames.
I'm working on finishing another fic now. I'm not going to really throw myself into my Big Bang fic until I do.
I also want to still complete some stuff for Kink Bingo. I guess I just haven't been in that kinky of a mood lately when it comes to writing. Also, I find that most fandoms aren't as good of a fit for me when it comes to writing kinky fanfic as Torchwood was, and I just haven't been inspired to write Torchwood fic these days. But maybe I'll write a short Torchwood thing for Kink Bingo. Right now I'm working on a spanking fic for the Bad Girls fandom, of all things. I'd feel better about if I'd watched the show more recently, but I think I've got a good enough handle on the characters.
