Not sure how many erotica fans are reading this, but I know some of you guys have tastes similar to mine when it comes to fic porn at least, so I thought I'd ask!

I'm looking for good professional erotica. Good kinky, BDSM-themed erotica. Particularly with queer characters, and geared towards a queer audience. Though, I'll be happy to take recommendations for female dominant/male submissive stories, too.

It seems like the market is dominated (no pun intended) by male dominant/female submissive stories, which isn't really my thing. Though, if you know of one that you think is wonderful, go ahead and suggest it. I'll give it a try, it's just not what I'm looking for in particular.

Either paper or ebook, doesn't matter.

Does what I'm looking for exist? Do I not know where to look? Since male dom/female sub seems to be the default, it's really difficult to pinpoint books that are about something different.

I would suggest giving circlet press a try. I don't know any spesific authors, perse but their publishing goals match yours. They have several collecdtions of short stories so that will give you a wat to check out mulitple authors.

I know that Dreamspinner does m/m BDSM/kink stories, although I haven't actually read any on that particular list -- still, if you check out some reviews on goodreads, you should get a sense of what you might like.

I did very much enjoy Caught by A. B. Gayle, which isn't BDSM, but a wonderful D/s dynamic develops between the two men throughout the course of the story, and it totally avoids a heteronormative dynamic.

Circlet press has a LiveJournal

And they're doing a holiday presentation of some of their olders, short works so you can see some samples for free.

I don't, but I'm interested too. Not into male dom/female submissive at all, either.

I got a couple recommendations over on my DreamWidth post.

It seems like the internet and ebooks makes alternatives a bit more accessible, but it can still be a challenge.

Well, there is a gay bookstore in my city, but I don't remember there being a lot of books there when I went. I think the mainstream bookstores around here actually have better selections of queer-themed books than this one did. :/ Though, I could give them another try and see if I missed anything.
