When I heard about Lee Thompson Young's recent death, I initially only saw references to him being on Rizzoli and Isles. I'd forgotten that he'd starred in The Famous Jett Jackson, which I enjoyed watching a lot when I was younger. It's a sad realization. I hadn't thought about that show in a long time, and I never knew what Lee Thompson Young had gotten up to after it ended. He wasn't that much older than me.

I feel like I've been living under a rock. I didn't realize he'd died until today. I don't normally get particularly emotional about celebrity deaths, but this one made me really sad. I loved The Famous Jett Jackson back in the day and I was sad that it was so short-lived. But he seemed to make the transition from child-star to adult actor pretty effortlessly and I was really happy for him.
