This was originally posted by [livejournal.com profile] frith_in_thorns, and I ripped it off from [livejournal.com profile] elrhiarhodan.

You post a topic, list, category, whatever, in comments. (examples: "Five Dates X Regretted Going On," or "Five Things Y Has On His Shelf", or "Your Five Favorite Songs to Write to). I'll answer with a list of five things.

I'll answer for any fandom I'm familiar with.

How about five things that Neal has in his closet that he'd never want Peter to find

From: [identity profile] citrinesunset.livejournal.com
1. His picture of his mother. When Neal left home, he was too angry to take much. Years later, when Ellen gave him a picture, he wasn't sure he wanted it but didn't have the heart to refuse.

2. That pair of designer cufflinks he bought last spring. He's supposed to be living off his meager FBI pay, his $700 housing stipend, and June's generosity. Peter is well aware that Neal has access to more, but Neal does him the courtesy of not making it too obvious.

3. The package Mozzie gave him for safekeeping last week. Neal doesn't know what's in it, and he doesn't really want to know.

4. The baseball-themed desk calendar that he's going to give to Peter for Christmas.

5. His sketchbooks. He doesn't like showing people his original work. He knows that Peter would praise it and try to encourage him, but no matter how good Peter's intentions are, his efforts to encourage Neal's non-criminal pursuits just make Neal feel like he doesn't get it. Besides, Neal went through a life drawing phase several years ago, and some of his friends agreed to be models. Peter doesn't need to see the drawings of Kate. Or the one of Mozzie.

well, I want to suggest something new and original, but actually I am always curious as to what songs people write to, so...

I have a lot of favorite songs to write to, so this is a little tricky. :P I brought up one of my writing playlists and picked out some of my favorites:

1. "Karma Police" -- Radiohead

2. "This Time Tomorrow" -- The Kinks

3. "Coming Into Los Angeles" -- Arlo Guthrie

4. "Life on Mars?" -- David Bowie

5. "There Is a Light That Never Goes Out" -- The Smiths

Five things Cobb said to Arthur (or vice versa) while Mal was alive?

Now that I got my big bang fic done, I can finally get back to answering these. :)

Five things Cobb said to Arthur while Mal was alive:

1. That the three of them wouldn't be able to experiment together with the new compound they'd acquired because Mal was pregnant.

2. That he didn't want to take on illegal jobs, and that he was only interested in shared dreaming for the intellectual curiosity of it.

3. That it was dangerous to forget that projections weren't real.

4. That he and Mal had gone to limbo.

5. That Mal was okay.

5 Weird things to happen on an extraction job?

From: [identity profile] citrinesunset.livejournal.com
1. Arthur's research didn't turn up anything about the subject's drug use, and neither he nor Cobb had any idea what effect cocaine would have on the behavior of the subject's projections.

2. The subject was supposed to be home alone all morning. Eames was the last one out, and was packing up the PASIV when the guy's wife came home, saw her husband asleep in bed, and accused Eames of having an affair with him. Eames couldn't let her blow their cover by confronting her husband, so he convinced her to go to lunch with him and spent the next two hours doing damage control.

3. The subject's beloved dog showed up as a projection. It found Cobb while he was breaking into a safe and bit him.

4. When Ariadne decided to keep doing extraction, she thought she could handle anything. But she wasn't expecting to be hired to create a perfect replica of the Death Star.

5. A man hired Cobb to perform an extraction on him, to find information he couldn't remember. It was an unusual job, but much less stressful than the norm.

5 Things Mozzie Would Never Consider Parting With...

Date: 2013-10-02 06:50 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] citrinesunset.livejournal.com
1. Mozart the bear.

2. The genuine piece of UFO wreckage from Roswell that he bought on Ebay. Someday, he'll use it to expose the vast government conspiracy surrounding the crash.

3. The information he has compiled about everyone who works in the white collar division. His motto is, keep your friends close and the suits closer.

4. Estelle. She's a good bird, who's shown him great loyalty.

5. Neal. Sure, they've had their falling outs before. But there's no one in Mozzie's life that he cares about more, and he's realized that life isn't as much fun without Neal around.
