I really enjoyed this episode! I'm glad we got a Mozzie-centric episode. The stuff with the Pink Panthers felt a little shoe-horned in, but I get the feeling that they had to keep that plot moving a bit since there are so few episodes. Might have felt weird if there was no mention of it at all, I suppose.

More detailed breakdown:

- Hmm. So, is Neal off the anklet 24/7 with this Pink Panthers gig? I guess that makes sense, since they have no way of knowing when he might be contacted. And LOL, Peter totally has separation anxiety. He's gotten too used to knowing where Neal is all the time.

- I don't see Mozzie being a good fit for the Pink Panthers. Like Neal says, they're hardly gentleman thieves. Not that Mozzie can't be a bit ruthless when he wants to be (remember when he took a hit out on Keller?), but in general, I don't see him mixing well with the Panthers.

- I'd read spoilers that this ep was going to involve Mozzie's wife, but the reveal was still a lot of fun. I love Neal's surprise.

- It's kind of funny--I had an idea for a fic a while back that was very similar to this, only with Neal having a secret wife.

- Poor Mozzie, betrayed on his honeymoon.

- I kind of doubt the marriage is actually legal, though. Though, I suppose that depends on the legality of marrying under a false name, which it was implied he did.

- I love how Neal emphasizes that he was in prison when the marriage took place. He wants to make it clear he had nothing to do with this. :P

- And poor Peter--lured home with the promise of lunch with his wife, only to be thrown into Mozzie's personal drama, instead.

- LOL at Neal being Mozzie's Boy Friday. I enjoyed the scene with them meeting Jack. Neal is usually the front man in the Neal-Mozzie conman dynamic, so it's fun to see him back up Mozzie for a change. He seems to have a hard time with it. :P

- Neal is unimpressed by Mozzie's wound. :P Considering Mozzie has been shot and poisoned, he's going to have a hard time garnering sympathy for a little cut.

- You don't shush Peter in his own car. Especially if you're Mozzie.

- I love that it's Peter who ultimately suspects Mozzie is right.

- Mozzie still has the bees! Yay! I love beekeeper!Moz.

- Mozzie's vision of romance: a relationship where he and Eva take turns conning each other. Considering Mozzie's cynicism about love, it's probably a genuinely romantic idea to him.

- Did Mozzie steal that scooter from one of the Burkes' neighbors?

- I like the imagined scenario of how things are going to go down.

- Does Peter just carry that recorder pen with him all the time, just in case? And how does Mozzie know that?

- LOL at Mozzie and his taxi.

- Poor Mozzie. It's both good and a little sad to see the moment where he realizes that Peter and Neal's suspicions are completely right. Mozzie can be a bit neurotic, but he's also very smart.

- Love that Neal correctly guesses what the target of the theft is going to be.

- I think this episode is great for showing both the similarities between Neal and Mozzie and how they complement each other. They're both prone to making bad choices and losing their foresight when they're emotionally invested. But they're both pretty good when seeing when the other is doing that. Mozzie could always tell when Neal was blinded by his love for Kate, and could see when Neal was on a course for disaster when he was trying to avenge Kate's death. And Neal knows Mozzie well enough to know that he gets a little obsessive and irrational when it comes to topics he's emotional about, like his parents or, in this episode, Eva.

- Though he's technically subverting justice, I like that Mozzie let Eva get away. He's showing that he's sticking to his principles even when she's failed to stick to hers (or at least, the principles he thought she had).

- Ugh, what a cliffhanger. I'm sure Neal will talk his way out of this one, though--we have two more episodes, after all.

I think we got some great insight into Mozzie. It was good change to see Neal as the one to caution Mozzie on being too emotional invested instead of it being the other way around.

I love how Neal emphasizes that he was in prison when the marriage took place. He wants to make it clear he had nothing to do with this. :P

I also think he was pouting about it. He seemed annoyed to hear about Mozzie having adventures while he was in Jail. ;)

I thought it was kind of sweet that Mozzie said, of his marriage, that he was at a low point in his life because he was missing his best friend & partner in crime.

I love Smart Peter knowing that Jack was faking just by looking at pictures of his bullet wound.

It is nice to see that Mozzie goes to El to talk about his feelings. It was sweet of El to say that he is not alone that he has us (meaning her & Peter).

I keep waiting for the show to let me down and it... doesn't. I loved this episode so, so much!!! :) :) :)

Agree that Mozzie wouldn't fit in well with the Pink Panthers. For all his cynism, Moz sometimes has a bit of a blind spot when it comes to great cons and thieves. Besides, as he said to Eva, Moz already has his own crew - with Peter and Neal in it :P

So Mozzie thinks that romance between conmen means they take turn conning each other and nobody goes to prison. Hmm. Maybe that explains his undecipherable feelings towards Kate...

Also, can I just say how much I love the added interactions between Peter and Mozzie in this season? The two of them were always interesting together, but they're getting more space now and it's making me very happy :D

Honstly, I can't remember the last time when I was enjoying the show this much. These four episodes were some of the best we ever got - and now there are only two left. It looks like stuff is going down in the next ep... hmmm. Well, I have full faith that in the end, all three guys will come out of it alive and happy.

Can't wait for next week!
