So, looks like some new features have been implemented on LJ. I haven't been following the news much. I think I kind of like it. I kinda like how the navigation strip when you're in a journal or community has the number of messages in your inbox now, and a calendar and link to the FAQ. That's nice. Don't care about the Facebook "Like" button, but I can avoid that.
Looks like there's a new community directory, too, which looks neat, though it seems to only have comms that were added by the maintainers. But if that's the case, I think that's a good system and I hope they keep it that way. I'm a little uneasy about the thought of them just adding all comms to it automatically.
It seems like LJ functioning a bit more normally now, too.
