So this is what I did before the internet

I was going through some file boxes tonight, also known as the boxes that I throw random stuff in when I need to put it somewhere. I discovered several pages from a daily cat calendar that my mom had when I was younger, the kind of calendar where you tear off a page each day. I used to save pages with pictures that I liked and put them on my bulletin board.

Seeing them, I realized that this was pretty much the pre-internet equivalent of cat memes and liking pictures of kittens on Tumblr. There truly is nothing new in the world.
