I finally got a good hair cut! Or, the closest to good that I've had, I think. I think the key was finally learning how to ask for a cut with the clippers. The gal who cut my hair was a little skeptical at first, warning me that it'd take a good amount off, but I was all, "Yeah, that's what I want." Though I had some doubts for a moment because I'd never actually asked for a cut with the clippers before, and had no idea if I was actually asking for the right thing. I was kind of worried I was going to be bald there for a moment, but it's just hair, right? And it turned out great! And this gal was the first person to actually cut the nape like I wanted, so that's nice. I'd like to get her again, but it's one of those first come, first serve places where you just walk in and get whatever stylist is available, so I'm not sure that's possible. But I got my mom to take pictures that I can use as an example in the future.

I got the top cut too short to really do much with it, and I'm not sure I'll keep it like that forever. But then again, I know I don't like it when it's longer, and whenever I try to style it, it's a disaster. So best to just chop it all off and be happy, right?

And psh, it's been a week, and I can already feel it growing out. My hair grows too fucking fast, i tell you.
