citrinesunsetI watched the entire first season of White Collar in four days. Pretty sure that's a record for me, and I feel like I should be a little ashamed to admit it. That's about ten hours spent watching the show instead of working on my fics, or reading, or exercising, or organizing stuff around the house.
Then again, my mom spent six hours watching the Hatfield and McCoys miniseries, and then rewatched some of it. Four days of non-productivity will not kill me, I suppose.
I do have to moderate myself, though, or I won't get any writing done. And I've got deadlines coming up. This isn't the best time to discover a new fandom.
Too soon to tell if this is going to be a long-term thing for me. It's odd. I really was starting to believe that I'm only able to get into sci-fi fandoms, but I guess that while that's normally the case, there are some exceptions. I can definitely see how White Collar hits my narrative kinks hard, but at the same time, I was really not expecting to get into it this much.
